Day 100
Old Words, Powerful Message
Galatians 5:22-23
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
Marcus Tullius Cicero, known as Rome’s greatest orator, died in 43 BC, but his words have relevance today: “Gratitude is not only the greatest of virtues, but the parent of all others.” Can you see the truth in this quote? When grateful, we become patient, not restless; we have peace, not anxiety. We choose generosity over selfishness, joy over resentment, worship over complaining. Temperance replaces excess; mistakes become lessons; lack becomes abundance. Our entire perspective changes.
When you choose gratitude, how goes it affect you spiritually, emotionally, and physically?
